Coach House

The charming Coach House features 5 conference rooms, including the Boerhaave Salon. The former hayloft of the Coach House accommodates parties of up to 100 people! All conference rooms have plenty of natural light and are equipped with modern technology and Wi-Fi.

 

Conservation of Castle Oud-Poelgeest

Your visit contributes to the conservation of this historic monument. It enables us to restore, maintain and improve the monuments on Landgoed Oud-Poelgeest. In early 2015, we concluded the restoration of the ceiling of the Dragon Hall and by the end of this year we will begin to restore the floor and walls to their original historic state. Thanks to your visit, these historic monuments can count on a dynamic future!

Boerhaave Salon

The Boerhaave Salon measures 120 m2 (approx. 1,200 ft2) and is perfect for large groups and multi-day corporate events. This salon is named in honor of the most famous resident of Oud-Poelgeest, Hermanus Boerhaave. For many years, this Dutch doctor, anatomist, botanist, chemist and researcher held three of the five medicine chairs at the University of Leiden.

The Boerhaave Salon is adjacent to four smaller conference rooms that can be used for breakout sessions or as a reception area. These options will make your training or meeting a dynamic event!

Upon your request, we serve your guests a varied buffet lunch, including beverages. Inspired by seasonal ingredients, our dishes are prepared with great care.
